WSQ 101E Assist in the Evacuation of Premises (SE-SO-101E-0)


This module prepares Trainees in handling possible Fire emergency situations, and to be aware of Fire hazards. Trainees will learn the correct procedures on handling Fire Extinguishers and Water Hose Reels in fighting fires. Trainees are also trained in various evacuation concepts and activities; and are guided using the model approach for procedures in evacuating people in a calm and orderly manner during an emergency.

Course Syllabus


  • Identify Fire Hazards and Prevent Fire Situations.
  • Correct usage of Portable Fire Extinguishers and Fire Hose Reels.

Asssessment

  • Assessment will be conducted by an independent assessor (examiner) from *POLWEL (*Police Welfare Co-operative)
  • Assessment format : Role-Play and Oral Questions
  • Assessment duration : 1 hour and 30 minutes

Training Duration

  • A minimum of 26 hours of training carried out over 3 working days*
  • Standard Course Timing: 0830hrs to 1730hrs (Monday to Friday)
