WSQ 301C Supervise Security Officers [Security Supervisor Course] (SE-SO-301C-0)


WSQ Supervise Security Officers is a single module and prepares Trainees in Security Supervision of activities and concepts. Trainees are put through simulations (role plays) on various likely scenarios of daily supervisory activities and guided through the use of the model approach in handling these situations.

  • Manage security operation procedures on a supervisory level.
  • Plan and direct the deployment of security officers based on security operational procedures.
  • Handle and maintain control of security officers based on various scenarios like late coming, absence and incompetence of security officers.
  • Conduct and oversee evacuation and handle other emergency situations such as Fire incidents.
  • Maintain health and safety of all security officers at work.
  • Be deployed as a security supervisor based on PLRD regulations.

Asssessment

  • Assessment will be conducted by an independent assessor (examiner) from *POLWEL (*Police Welfare Co-operative)
  • Assessment format : Role Play and Oral Questions
  • Assessment duration : 2 hours and 10 minutes

Training Duration

  • A minimum of 22 hours of training carried out over 3 working days*
  • Standard Course Timing: 0830hrs to 1730hrs (Monday to Friday)

Entry Requirements

  • To have strong underpinning knowledge as a foundation in Security activities, it is strongly recommended the Trainee completes WSQ Enhanced Basic Security Course modules before under taking training in this Advance Module
  • Trainee must have a strong command of English as the course and assessment requires the trainee to be able to communicate concepts and give instructions effectively to its supervisees.
