Manpower Planning (Monitor and Review Security Operations)

This module will equip security personnel with the knowledge and abilities to monitor and review security operations at their workplace.


Upon successful completion of the module, learners will be able to:

  • Conduct a study on client’s requirements and security requirements at a particular deployment site
  • Manage a security team during security operations
  • Monitor security team during security operations
  • Conduct a comprehensive review of the performance of security officers and the effectiveness of systems and equipment

Course Syllabus

  1. Prepare for security operations
  2. Supervise and monitor security operations
  3. Review security operations


Assessment will be conducted by an independent assessor (examiner) from *POLWEL (*Police Welfare Co-operative)

Assessment format : Role-Play and Oral Questions

Assessment duration: 2 hours

Training Duration

  • 22 hours
  • 2.5 Training Days + 0.5 Days for Assessment

Entry Requirements

1. Learner of the age range of 18 years old onwards

2. Minimum of primary school education

3. Candidates must meet the required workplace literacy and numeracy level

a. Listen and speak English at a proficiency level equivalent or exceeding ES WSQ Level 4.

4. Candidates should possess the relevant assumed skills and knowledge (Security related). This includes having at least 1year experience in the security industry or relevant security modules includes security supervisor modules based on the PWM such as:

  • Supervise Security Officers

And at least 2 out of the 3 following modules:

  • WSQ 302C Assess and Address Security Risks
  • WSQ 305C Induct Security Personnel
  • WSQ 304C Perform Supervisory Duties Within Legal Framework
