Access Control Management (Deploy Security Equipment) is targeted at learners who are in the secu-rity industry and are looking to be a Senior Security Supervisor. This module aims to provide learners with the relevant skills and knowledge to ensure that senior se-curity supervisors are able to deploy access control, alarm monitoring and CCTV monitoring equip-ment and supervise security officers using such equipment as a command centre site-in-charge.

  • Gain the necessary knowledge and know-how to operate current access control, alarm monitoring and CCTV monitoring equipment
  • Improve a site’s security systems and  identify gaps or areas which require the deployment of respective security equipment
  • Train security officers to give them the know-how to operate current access control, alarm monitoring and CCTV monitoring equipment


Course Syllabus

  1. Identify gaps and make recommendations to a security system plan.
  2. Supervise security officers to perform daily checks and report faults of security systems.
  3. Supervise security officers to be able to re-spond to security incidents that are triggered by security systems.

Asssessment

Assessment will be conducted by an independent assessor (examiner) from *POLWEL (*Police Welfare Co-operative)

2.5 Training Days + 0.5 Assessment Day
